There are two ways to own a vehicle. One is to wait for something to fail and then pay for the failure. The other is to keep the service intervals, replace the fluids and filters on time, and have somebody look the vehicle over while it is on the lift anyway.
The second one is dramatically cheaper over the life of the vehicle, and it is also how a vehicle keeps its value. A documented service history is worth real money when you sell.
We go by what your manufacturer specifies for your vehicle, its mileage and how you actually drive it. Bring the schedule or the service history and we will work from it, and tell you where you are against it.
What we will not do is invent an interval. The oil change is the appointment where the list traditionally appears — an induction service, an injector flush, a coolant exchange the manufacturer doesn't call for. Some of it is genuinely useful. Much of it is margin. We tell you what's due and what isn't. One customer wrote that she brought in a high-mileage Subaru expecting a list, and got advice, topped-up fluids and an oil change.

Once it is out of factory warranty, where it is serviced is entirely your decision. While it is still under warranty, tell us and we'll be straight with you about anything that genuinely belongs at the dealer.
