“Great service! The guys were very respectful! I got my brakes, filters and oil change. When I went to discount tire to get my tires balanced and rotated they stated my rotors are bad and needed to…”
Brake Repair
in Santa Fe
Brakes are the one system where a shop's honesty is worth measuring in something other than money.
Bring it in if
Any of this sounds familiar.
Squealing or grinding when you brake
A pedal that goes soft or sinks
Vibration through the pedal or steering when stopping
The car pulls to one side under braking
Brake or ABS warning light
Somebody else told you that you need brakes
The honest version of a brake job
Brakes are the classic upsell. Pads and rotors are easy to sell, hard for a customer to argue with, and nobody wants to gamble on their stopping distance. It is exactly why we take the assessment seriously.
We measure. Pad thickness, rotor thickness and runout, caliper movement, hose and line condition, fluid state. Then we tell you where things actually are — including when the answer is that you have plenty of life left.
One customer came to us after a tire shop told her the rotors on her vehicle were bad and needed replacing. They weren't.
What we handle

Questions
Brakes, answered.
How do I know if I really need brakes?
Come in and we'll measure them and show you the numbers. If they're fine, that's what we'll tell you — it happens more often than you'd think.
Do I have to replace rotors every time?
No. Rotors have a minimum thickness specification. If yours are above it and running true, they stay.
How long does a brake job take?
Most pad-and-rotor jobs are the same day. Call ahead so we can have the parts ready.
